Aboriginal consultation

If an Aboriginal due diligence assessment or Aboriginal archaeological assessment determines that there is or is likely to be Aboriginal 'objects' impacted upon by proposed development, it will be necessary to apply for an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) prior to undertaking the proposed works.

Prior to applying for an AHIP, it is necessary to undertake Aboriginal consultation in accordance with the Office of Environment & Heritage's (OEH) Aboriginal cultural heritage consultation requirements for proponents 2010. Our team has undertaken Aboriginal consultation for a wide variety of government, commercial and private projects. We have developed strong working relationships with the Aboriginal communities of Sydney and New South Wales.

We are highly skilled at preparing Aboriginal cultural heritage assessment reports (ACHAR)
